Key stakeholders from forestry, civil protection, academia, NGO’s, environmental institutions, etc, took active participation at the meeting of Landscape Fire Management (LFM) network in the Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, held in Banja Luka on June 10, 2025. The event was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management of the Republika Srpska, in collaboration with the Regional Fire Monitoring Center (RFMC). It was held within the framework of the Landscape Fire Management in the Western Balkans (LFMWB) Programme, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and coordinated by Farmahem.

The meeting aimed to finalize the Draft Strategy for Adaptive Landscape Management and LFM in the Republika Srpska, as well as the Action Plan that was outlined at the previous meeting.
After the presentation of draft Strategy by Mr. Miroslav Rakita, LFMWB Country Project Staff, participants had an opportunity for discussion and comments.

In the second part of the meeting through interactive sessions and group work, led by Mr. Aleksandar Karaev, participants worked in groups reviewing and upgrading the strategic Action Plan and align it with the official methodology of Republika Srpska.
