Project Cycle Management Workshop

In the frame of the SDC’s Landscape Fire Management in the Western Balkans (LFMWB) Programme, a Project Cycle Management (PCM) workshop took place from December 17th to 19th, 2024, in Skopje. The workshop was organized by the Regional Executive Agency, Farmahem.

This three-day workshop, attended by the LFMWB’s Country Project Staff and representatives from the Regional Fire Monitoring Center, focused on equipping participants with essential tools and methodologies for effective project cycle management.

The aim of the training was to provide a comprehensive understanding for participants to navigate through planning and implementation to monitoring and evaluation processes. Self-management skills, such as time prioritization and stress management, were emphasized to enhance personal effectiveness. Decision-making abilities were sharpened through critical thinking exercises and problem-solving activities, equipping participants to tackle challenges effectively in implementing project activities.

Under the guidance of experienced facilitator, the workshop included interactive sessions and group activities to provide participants with practical knowledge and tools. Core topics included project management foundations, need assessment analysis, SMART objectives, and strategic planning.

The workshop empowered participants with the skills and strategies needed to effectively contribute to the implementation of the LFMWB Programme.
